Wait...

What actually defines a bad mother?

A mother who feeds non-organic food to their child?
A mother who canes their child?
A mother who gives sweets, chocolate and ice cream to their child?
A mother who let their kids play with electronics?
A mother who works full time?
A mother who gives non gluten-free food?

The list goes on and on.

If like that, then I AM A BAD MOM. 😱

If I give Mika chocolates or let him watch YouTube, they will be asking me.. WHY ? 😒

Honestly, I feel that if we don't give our kids chocolates or ice cream, then it's just WRONG!

It's like robbing their childhood!

I mean, they are just kids! What's childhood without chocolates or ice cream? It is seriously OK to give your kids that in the right serving. We can control the amount but we should never not let them eat it. I know moms who doesn't even give their kids Kentucky or McDs. But didn't we all grew up on that? Trust me, once your kid is out in college, they are gonna hit Kentucky and McDs so hard. They will find this new love for fast food! So, the key here is moderation. Let them have fast food but not often and please don't reward them with fast food as well. For me it's a NO, it's only happening if I am lazy to cook. Then you can have KFC: fried chicken with mash potatoes. We can have cheat days once in a while.

I am also a mom who lets Mika watch YouTubes. Honestly, I think it's great. HELLO! It's 2016 now! We live in the technology era. It is seriously OK, in my opinion to let them watch YouTube videos but just not in a long hour. Mika watched it during his meal times which benefits me because I could feed him properly. If not, he would be playing with the food and messing everything up which gives me extra work. I rather not get angry over this minor stuff and have this bad relations where the mother is always angry at the child for spilling his food. Of course I only select good programmes for him to watch which are more educational. Trust me, he learned his ABC through YouTube. It wasn't me. I didn't teach him that. I was shocked but it's a good shock-face 😱

A mom who works full time isn't bad either. Actually we should also salute them! They have to deal with two families : ( office and home ) I seriously wonder how they do that? I am very sure every second they are missing their children, some might even go to the toilet to cry whenever they misses their kid. All mother loves their children. Also, don't be shocked or look down at stay at home mom! It is seriously HARD WORK and it's a 24/7 job and their rest time is only when their kids are asleep. It is honestly the hardest work anyone could apply for.

I can also honestly tell you that I do rotan Mika whenever he is naughty. Of course I don't smack him hard, just the right enough pressure to make him understand that what he did was wrong, followed by a hug which is a very IMPORTANT. I make it a point to talk to him at the same eye level. I normally will rotan him, then I will get down to his eye level and asked if he knew what he did was wrong. He will answered, then he will say sorry. I will then forgive him and hug him with a big smile. I also have this naughty / time out corner for him if he is really really naughty or did the wrong things on purpose. I would say that Mika is pretty disciplined. Of course boys can be naughty but so far everything is under control. But sometimes he can get too manja and he throw tantrums but no really bad ones. For me, this matter kinda works, but honestly maybe I still should do more research on it because my husband heard on BFM that we shouldn't rotan our kids.

So, what actually defines a bad mom? What do you think?
