It's been a long time since I went for an event after finding out that I was pregnant and it was good to go out again, a reason to doll up and meet with friends :) I was invited to the launch of Huawei's latest phone, the Ascend P7 at Grand Hyatt. Love the hotel by the way, what a great venue for an event.

Ushers taking selfies

I've never touch any products from Huawei before. Yes, I've heard of it but never get the chance to know the brand really well. After registering, we were ushered to take photos using their latest smartphone, the Ascend P7 and the usher girls were very nice, asking us if we could take a selfie with them and right away, the first thing which I noticed was how good the camera pixel is. 8 MP for a front camera! Super clear! And they printed out the picture right away for you to keep.

One of the best part was Huawei introduced to us was “ GROUFIES “ Yes, you might wonder what is that term? It's basically like selfie which is very popular now but can only fit 2 person or 3 person if the other person photo bomb your picture! With the new Huawei Ascend P7, the phone has this feature whereby you can take frontal group shot! We were blown away :) This phone is definetly for people who loves to take pictures :)

Then the presentation starts in the Grand Ballroom, emceed by Lisa Wong. The venue was nice with simple yet elegant decorations and a beautiful white piano in the middle of the stage where they serenade us with a song to present their latest smartphone.

  

I was very fortunate to have Jane, Daphne and Bobo by my side as they were so helpful, with helping me taking pictures around and serving me drinks and making sure I am comfortable. Thank you girls, really appreciate it a lot. It has it perks beings pregnants :)

Mr. Gary Xu, the Country Director, Consumer Business Group of Huawei Technologies Malaysia presented us their latest phone, the Acsend P7 and said that this phone encompasses the needs of the consumer for a durable and sophistiscated device that brings and excellent balance between form and funtion.   He also did announced their business ventures with telco companies like Umobile and Celcom, where you can sign up a package with your interest telco companies.
