Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur

This year is me and Marcus’ 4th anniversary. Normally we would just go out for dinner or Marcus would cook dinner while I clean after. 

 I wanted something different this year, I wanted to spend our anniversary in the city of Kuala Lumpur and want needed the best hotel with an awesome spa as we were so stressed out planning the ultimate wedding.

Hotel Maya was our answer. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, KLCC is just 5 minutes away. Zouk is right in front. Perfect for my short yet enjoyable holiday.

When I first check into Hotel Maya, we were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. I’ve never been to Hotel Maya before this and found out it’s actually Malaysia’s first boutique hotel!

Do you know you can check in as early as 7am with prior arrangement? How awesome is that? I always wanted a hotel where I can check in early and start my beautiful getaway right away!

I was checking out the interior and it has a contemporary Asian feel with a lot of natural light, giving me a safe and calm feeling.

I checked into our Deluxe Suite and was amazed by how big our room is.

The closet is a walk in and it’s joint with the toilet, it was huge!

I love love love the spacious walk in closet, as it has a huge mirror where I can camphor, it’s every girls’ dream come true

The windows reminded me so much of Chanel, how Gabrielle Chanel has huge ceiling to floor windows with black frames.

The room was so comfy that I camwhored non stop! In fact, my header picture was taken in this very room!

The bed was huge and soft, and I always love fluffy pillows! 

I then had to invite one of my bridesmaid and best man over to check out the room as the room is spacious enough for me to host my hen’s night! Plus Zouk was right in front!

I took them to the Sky Lounge at the 13th floor, which was only for the hotel guest. The view was breathtaking!

Complimentary tea and coffee from 9pm till 11 pm 

After checking out the room and the sky lounge, we headed to Zouk for a night out and trust me, after hours of dancing and drinking, I was so happy that our bed was just steps away! Right in front! No need to drive back home! It was blissful

The next morning, we ordered room service and their breakfast was definitely first class! A good breakfast is an awesome cure for minor hang overs.

After a crazy night at Zouk, since we were dancing non stop, we decided to hit the SPA! Anggun Spa is located at level 3 which I will blog about soon!

So, can you imagine... a short getaway trip to Hotel Maya, 5 minutes away from KLCC ( SHOPPPINNGGGG ) Zouk, the best place to club is just right in front and then SPA the next day for pampering after a crazy night at Zouk, sounds blissful right?

It was definitely an awesome getaway.

So if you are thinking of a short getaway, or perhaps to all my KL friends who are getting married, Hotel Maya is the best place to host your hen’s night as the room is spacious and Zouk is just right in front!
